The People Behind Your Financial Success
Meet the dedicated professionals who bring decades of experience and genuine passion for helping Australians master their financial futures through practical budgeting education.

Celestine Margrave
Lead Financial StrategistCelestine spent fifteen years working with families across regional Victoria, watching too many people struggle with budgets that looked perfect on paper but fell apart in real life. Her approach focuses on the psychology behind spending habits rather than just the numbers.
After completing her graduate studies in behavioral economics at Melbourne University in 2018, she developed the framework we still use today - one that acknowledges that budgeting isn't just math, it's about understanding why we make the financial choices we do. Her weekend workshops have helped over 800 families build sustainable money management systems that actually work with their lifestyles.
Bartholomew Chen-Wei
Senior Budget AnalystBartholomew brings a unique perspective from his background in both corporate finance and small business ownership. He ran a successful café in Bendigo for six years before joining durevolianth, which gave him firsthand experience with cash flow challenges that many of our clients face.
His specialty lies in helping people understand the connection between their daily spending patterns and long-term financial goals. Bartholomew has developed several tools we use in our programs, including the "Reality Check Calculator" that shows participants exactly where their money goes each month. He's particularly passionate about working with young professionals and families who are juggling multiple financial priorities.
Why We Started durevolianth
Back in 2019, we both worked at different financial institutions and kept seeing the same problem - people receiving budget advice that sounded great in theory but was impossible to follow in practice. The disconnect between textbook budgeting and real life was huge.
We decided to create something different. durevolianth exists because we believe financial education should be practical, honest, and designed around how people actually live their lives.
"The best budget is the one you can actually stick to for more than three months. Everything else is just wishful thinking."
- Celestine Margrave, reflecting on our core philosophy
How We Approach Financial Education
Real-World Testing
Every budgeting strategy we teach has been tested by actual families for at least six months. We don't share theoretical concepts - only methods that work in practice with real bills and real temptations.
Honest Expectations
We won't promise you'll become wealthy overnight or never want to buy coffee again. Instead, we focus on building sustainable habits that fit your actual life, not some idealized version of it.
Ongoing Support
Financial situations change, and budgets need to evolve with them. Our community approach means you're not learning in isolation - you're part of a group that understands the challenges and celebrates the wins.
